Zoltán Balog awared the Prize for Minorites to the Romanes Accosiation,in  the honor of roma integration, preservation of the roma folklore culture and folklore trough the  Roma Ethnic Museum.

Zoltán Balog the Minister of Human Resources and Miklós Soltész the State Secretary for Church , Nationality and Civil Society Contacts were commissioned by the Minister Viktor Orbán to award the Prize for the Minorites on 18th of December 2014 at Pesti Vigadó.

The Minister emphasized in his opening speech: in our country there are people and nationality communities of people in our country, who have multiply identity. In the same time they are proud to be a Hungarian and an ethnic member as well.” Of the multiply identity has spiritual and intellectual meaning, what Hungary and it’s culture need”- said the head of the ministry.

Zoltán Balog highlighted: Hungary’s largest wealth lies in human resource as it showned among the awardees. „We can be proud that in Hungary 13 nationalities live together with equal rights, who have their traditions and cultural heritage to enrich the Hungarian and the universal culture.

 

Miklós Soltész emphasized that: the awardees are the envoys of the nationalities and have to strenghten further the role and the tasks.

With their cultures, language, faith they should be peace ambassador in Hungary and in the Carpathian Basin- said  the Secretary of State .
